Visualize the Universe as the measly Earth peasant that you are

The Orbiter

I am not in Space and you most likely neither.

Unfortunately we can not count us to these lucky ones up above.

But do not despair yet! There are some ways to give you a sense of what it would be like to be among the stars and I am going to tell you all about them.

Get ready to open up some tabs, shut up and listen.

First of all there is the ISS HD Viewing Experiment, provided by Nasa on Ustream. This is just unbelievably fucking awesome.

Watch the Earth from this japanese satellite as well. If you always wanted to explore the inside of the ISS, this interactive page is your friend.

And this fine site here shows you where the ISS is in real-time.

And this one shows you a map with pictures taken from the ISS.

This is what the earth looks like at night. And here is a virtual reality Aurora Borealis.

Here you can experience the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing

Now go a step further and visualize our solar system.

Another way is to do that is to scroll yourself to death on this fucking (awesome) site.

Oh yeah and here is our FUCKING SUN in real-time, well almost, because, you know it takes a bit of time for the data to travel from the sun to the earth!

This Chrome experiment shows you what 100,000 stars look like.

Go to this site in order to visualize the scale of the universe. It is mindbogglingly huge and tiny at the same time. You are nothing.

When you are done visiting all these awesome sites I provided to you, you should better think about what the hell you are doing with your life and if it even matters in the grand scheme of things.

What I am saying is you do not matter, not even a bit.

Have a nice day!
